What You Can Expect
Travel from Istanbul to the well-preserved ancient city of Ephesus. Visit the house where it is believed the Virgin Mary spent her last days. Marvel at the cotton cliffs of Pamukkale and explore the ruins of Hierapolis on this 4-day excursion.
Day-1: Bus from Istanbul to Selcuk, Ephesus
You’ll be picked up at your hotel or the Istanbul airport and transferred to the bus station for a 20:30 departure. The trip to Selcuk/Ephesus takes around 10 hours, with 3 rest stops along the way.
Day-2: Ephesus (L)
When you arrive at 07:30 your tour guide and vehicle will be waiting for you.
Head out on a full-day tour of Ephesus and the House of the Virgin Mary. The first stop will be the Temple of Artemis, which was one of the wonders of the ancient world. Afterwards you’ll visit the ancient, well-preserved Greco-Roman city of Ephesus, followed by a break for lunch.
After lunch you’ll visit the House of the Virgin Mary, where it is believed that she spent her last days. This is a holy site for both Christians and Muslims. At around 15:30 you’ll be transferred to your hotel in Selcuk or Kusadasi town, where you’ll spend the night.
Day-3: Pamukkale (B, L)
After breakfast your guide will pick you up at the hotel for the Pamukkale and Hierapolis tour. In Pamukkale you’ll marvel the cotton cliffs, a natural wonder formed by deposits of calcareous salts.
Visit the ancient ruins of Hierapolis and see its basilica, theater, and Roman baths. Afterwards you’ll be transferrd to the bus station. At 21:00 your bus departs from Pamukkale for Istanbul.
Day-4: Arrive in Istanbul
At 08:00 you’ll arrive in Istanbul, and then be transferred to your hotel or the airport.

- The tempature early morning in Cappadocia is cold and cilly. You should have wear warm clothes.
